Yana Dinchiyska Announces Candidacy for the GALA Board of Directors

[October 12, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA, United States] – 1-StopAsia announces that its CEO, Yana Dinchiyska, is among the 13 candidates standing for election to the Board of Directors of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) for the 2027–2029 term. Four seats are open in this election, with voting scheduled for October 14-November 2, 2026.

Yana Dinchiyska’s candidacy focuses on strengthening collaboration across the language industry, bringing language service providers (LSPs), buyers, freelancers, and other industry participants into more open, practical conversations about shared business challenges.

Bringing Buyers and LSPs to the Same Table

The language industry is navigating changes in technology, workflows, client expectations, and business models. For Yana, GALA has an opportunity to help the industry respond by creating more space for practical knowledge-sharing and collaboration between the people who buy and deliver language services.

Her vision centers on a more inclusive association where professionals and organizations of different sizes, regions, and backgrounds can find value. That includes discussing not only new technologies and successful implementations, but also the actual costs, challenges, and lessons behind them.

Yana Dinchiyska

“I want GALA to be a place where buyers and LSPs can work through the same challenges together, with open conversations about what things really cost, where we can become more efficient, and how we can grow more profitably. Our industry has a lot to gain when we stop trying to solve every problem separately and start learning from each other’s experience. I believe GALA can become a stronger voice for the whole industry, and I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to that.” – Yana Dinchiyska

Experience Across Operations, Strategy, and AI

Yana’s experience in the language services industry spans more than a decade. During her career at 1-StopAsia, she has worked across vendor management, HR, operations, marketing, sales, production, and quality control before moving into executive leadership.
