[September 7, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA, United States] – 1-StopAsia is proud to announce that its CEO, Yana Dinchiyska, will be a featured speaker at the upcoming GALA Academy Q3 2026 virtual event, “Vendor Management After the AI Wake-Up Call.”
Yana will speak on September 15, 2026, during Session 1: Replicable Automation for Everyday VM Work, focusing on a challenge familiar to many LSPs: managing the constant flow of linguists looking for work and new projects.
A Smarter Way to Manage Linguist Applications
LSPs receive CVs and inquiries from linguists every day. With AI changing the language industry, many linguists are also looking more actively for new positions and projects. Yet these applications are often not reviewed until an LSP actually needs a particular specialist for a project. By then, resource managers may have to restart the search, which can take time, create unnecessary stress, and increase costs.
At the same time, many steps in the process of receiving and handling linguist applications are repetitive and can be supported by AI. In her presentation, Yana will show how these applications can be processed and organized with AI up to the point where human involvement is needed.
That point is important. AI should not make the final selection. A resource manager still needs to review the linguist’s CV and documentation, evaluate their test, decide whether they meet the company’s requirements, and determine whether they should join the vendor pool. The relationship with the linguist also remains human.
The session will look at how LSPs can use this approach to reduce repetitive work, save time and money, and keep the right balance between automation and human decision-making.
“LSPs receive a huge number of linguist applications every day, but we often only look at them seriously when we suddenly need someone for a project,” says Yana Dinchiyska. “That costs time, creates stress, and can also increase costs. I want to show how AI can take care of the repetitive work while people stay responsible for evaluating talent, making the final decision, and building a relationship with our linguists.”
