Interview

How many languages do you speak? Please write them in a list. Which is your mother tongue?

Spanish (mother tongue) and English

What is your favorite sport or hobby in your free time? Why is it so? Any interesting stories on it?

Gym and running (higher athlete). I would say these are my main hobbies, but I also enjoy watching movies of all kinds and having a great meal.

Top 3 things we don’t know about you? Might be something funny, quirky or strange 🙂

I love to train my dog and run with him, during the week I also practice box and yoga (in this one I’m not the best but I´m trying to improve), I love to eat (a lot! I would even ask if that could be considered as a hobby), I love to sing I don´t know if I do it okay. Still, I would never be ashamed to sing in front of people… hahaha

What was the most surprising thing you learned about Asia while working here?

Ugh, a lot of things! I was totally inexperienced in the translation industry but right now I would say, the whole process that any of our services could take is an amazing chain, a whole teamwork and how important is for everyone to do their best, and create a great result for our clients.

Favorite book or a book that changed your mindset and why it did?

I love biographies, cause you can learn from others’ experiences, it doesn’t matter whose biography is… You can learn from anyone and historical events, but maybe a book I could say was one of my first mind-setting books, I could say Super Life by Darin Olien.

Your most extreme experience so far in your life/biggest challenge in your life?

I could say many from my family experiences and the relation I have with my parents but in a really self way since last year I´ve been experiencing, I could say ice water immersions, those kinds of experiences are my favorite ones because I´m really challenging my body, but most importantly my mind in many many ways.

Your top 3 goals in professional life for the next 10 years

I could say a higher position with a higher income, become an expert in this field, in the near goals I want to retake Portuguese and start learning Arabic.
