Sandy Pranoto is our Senior Account Manager from our USA office. Her core responsibility is to manage the entire Account Management team for the USA East coast.
She is one of our tremendously valued support specialists and has over a decade of experience in customer service. The words that come to our mind about her are “efficiency and master class” when it comes to her account management work. Her passion for helping others combines perfectly with her understanding of the needs of our clients. How many languages do you speak? Please write them in a list. Which is your mother tongue?
I speak 4 languages: English, Indonesian, Sundanese and German.
What is your favorite sport or hobby in your free time? Why is it so? Any interesting stories on it?
I love spending time with my son whenever I can.
Top 3 things we don’t know about you? Might be something funny, quirky or strange :)
I'm half Indonesian and half German. I was born in Chicago but I was raised in Bandung, Indonesia.
What was the most surprising thing you learned about Asia while working here?
I learned that Asian languages have many different dialects. Also, some languages can be considered nomadic - without a country.
Favorite book or a book that changed your mindset and why it did?
The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho. It teaches you to follow your dreams, find happiness, and not give in to your fears.
Your most extreme experience so far in your life/biggest challenge in your life?
Moving out of my parents’ house at quite a young age was scary. However, it taught me how to face and manage my fears. And not to be afraid of failing, as failing is better than not trying at all.
