How many languages do you speak? Please write them in a list. Which is your mother tongue?
English is my mother tongue, but after living in Bulgaria for over 15 years, my Bulgarian is close to native level too.
What is your favorite sport or hobby in your free time? Why is it so? Any interesting stories on it?
Hitting the gym is a favorite occupation of mine, so I do that quite often. Other than that, I enjoy watching MMA and movies. If you dig deeper, you’ll also discover I love playing video games.
Top 3 things we don’t know about you? Might be something funny, quirky or strange 🙂
- I participate each year in a mentoring program in Bulgaria, helping young people develop professional skills and life experience.
- I have a severe fear of heights.
- As someone from the UK, I believe nothing is better than a fresh pint of Guinness.
What was the most surprising thing you learned about Asia while working here?
The most surprising thing for me was learning that In parts of Asia, they celebrate New Year’s on a different day than we do here in the West.
Favorite book or a book that changed your mindset and why it did?
Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. It gave me so much perspective on how to manage, and where to invest money.
Your most extreme experience so far in your life/biggest challenge in your life?
Being a father for sure. Each day is a rollercoaster ride! 🙂
Your top 3 goals in professional life for the next 10 years
- I will be doing regular seminars and training on Sales and Partnership Development, for professionals within the Translation industry and outside of it.
- If I am not working for myself, I hope to still be at 1-Stop. I feel truly blessed and proud to be part of a company comprised of such exceptional individuals, and elite professionals.
- I want to obtain a large portfolio of different properties, as well as various other assets and investments.
