1-Stop Translation sponsors Translators without Borders
1-Stop is honored to be a sponsor of the Translators without Borders initiative, an organization determined to raise money to train translators in areas where access to knowledge is not available.
There are thousands of people who do not have access to pertinent information such as healthcare and education because it is given to them in a language they cannot understand. In the past two years, Translators without Borders has translated more than 10 million words for non-profits worldwide. They have also trained new translators in Kenya to increase access to knowledge in Swahili, gave Kenyans a voice in the elections by translating more than 38,000 SMS messages, and helped Syrian refugees get critical information in Arabic.
As a token of appreciation, Rebecca Petras, Program Director for Translation without Borders has generously sent us a certification of recognition for our support. We are honored to accept this invitation and thankful for their unwavering dedication and commitment to this imperative cause.
